Sentiero degli Dei (Path of Gods) – Amalfi Coast – It’s understandable why this route was baptized with this name. This large trail allows you to admire one of the most spectacular landscapes in the world, the view of the entire western side of the Amalfi Coast, from Praiano to Capri.
Valle delle Ferriere (Ferriere Valley) – Amalfi – Hidden in the heart of Amalfi, it’s a natural reserve of amazing beauty. Paths wind through ancient ruins and waterways. If you are lucky you can meet frogs, salamanders and even otters scuttling among the ancient ferns.
Vallone Porto (Port Valley) – Positano – The path takes us inside a narrow slot corroded by water where, due to moisture and the temperature range, you can admire beautiful plants and vegetation and unusual animals. Plants are higher than average because they stretch up in search of light. Worthy representative of the local fauna is the “spectacled salamander”.
Punta Campanella – Sorrento- It is one of the most beautiful and luxuriant parts of the Italian coast concerning nature, land and underwater. The path is a sequence of green headlands and cozy coves and very famous is Ieranto Bay offering the viewer a unique landscape in all its beauty. The Saracen Towers project us into an exciting past. This zone is a Natural Protected Reserve.
Crapolla – Massalubrense – You leave from Torca hamlet and you head, through a multitude of lanes, right down to the picturesque bay, through the characteristic green Mediterranean vegetation. The path is rich with myrtle and mastic trees and it leads to the beginning of a flight of 700 limestone steps arriving wich go down to the beach. The walk ends in the characteristic seaside village where you can see many ruins of Roman and early Christian buildings; the fjord, at the foot of a majestic cliff , is still used by many fishermen.
Il sentiero dei Fortini (Fortini path) – Capri – Here is one of the most spectacular walks in Capri: Fortini path. A path that runs along the sea from the Blue Grotto to the lighthouse of Punta Carena between frames of rock, sculptural capes and deep bays with turquoise water. On the way you can find the three forts that once served for the defence of Capri: Orrico, Pino and Mesola.
Le ville di Tiberio (Tiberius’ villas) – Capri – The Roman emperor Tiberius built 12 villas. The findings of these villas are scattered a bit all over the island but only 3 villas have preserved visible the original structure: Jovis Villa, Damecuta Villa and Palazzo a Mare. This is the route to visit them all (and to take even a dive into the sea).
